.... it's near done for. You might get up and get out for some extras - NOW!" - SavannahDungeness crabbing season ended on Sept. 30 for the year. We got a final trip out and did well.
This trap was down in about 60 feet of water for about 30 minutes. There are chicken legs in the bait box. It has about 30 crabs in there and two were "keepers". Three of us were crabbing with four traps like this. We pulled them all up just twice and pretty much got our limit. A fine end to a fun and tasty activity.

Savannah looks very regal there...
But Savannah, it looks so cozy and lived-in, are you sure you want to part with it?
Hubby would be drooling with envy over all that crab--he was ooh-ing and ahh-ing earlier watching a clip of a pile of crab being steamed down in Baltimore.
What fun on the crabbing! I don't know that I've had a Dungeness--we have our smaller blue crabs here. Better run out and do what the Princess commands.
Looks like you should replace the box before it collapses under The Princess Royal and she crowns you.
Glad that the crabbing season ended well.
Crown Royal was yummy :) When I used to be able to drink :-/. Just caught up on the week of pics. Great pic of Lucky!!! Sorry to hear the Princess wasn't well, I'm so glad to hear she's feeling better.
Just looked at DR. We bunny folk are certainly cut from a different cloth, are we not?
Yes, BL ... I've given up on the rest of the world understanding. The Lady there does not look as though she approved anything to do with that furniture before its purchase and is rejecting it flat out!
Savannah is so perfectly soft and regal! Only the best for her!
