They're not sure exactly what it died of but they are speculating it may have been attacked by orcas - deep gashes on its side are apparently indicative of this type of attack. I hadn't heard about the one in Puget Sound.

Savannah is such a beautiful bun and she photographs very well.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8103145702479253134.post-59372276029070675332010-04-21T16:36:14.840-07:002010-04-21T16:36:14.840-07:00Savannah is so beautiful!Savannah is so beautiful!dguzmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01811101661607351661noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8103145702479253134.post-59581006847813667072010-04-21T14:05:14.176-07:002010-04-21T14:05:14.176-07:00What a lovely photo. Can't imagine what it might be like for whatever manages to continue to live in there.

Thanks for lightening up the story with a lovely artistic photo of Savannah.Lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15468713627933431744noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8103145702479253134.post-83809547635132624002010-04-20T23:43:14.363-07:002010-04-20T23:43:14.363-07:00what a beautiful photo of Savannah.
