They also are part of the foundation under the sheds, then we started filling up the neighbor's vacant lot.... Rocks are the best crop around here.Karen Mhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07589381487144096056noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8103145702479253134.post-73355066206086956592010-05-17T07:30:03.313-07:002010-05-17T07:30:03.313-07:00@ Hef's Mom .. good going! You can grow stuff we can't because our summers have too much cool at night.

@ Lisa .. well, there is 4 inches of space between double wires. And, everybunny seems to tolerate (ignore) their pen-neighbors just fine! Needn't envy the gardens - 10 rabbits means stay home a lot!

@ Glenna .. we moved in about 8 years ago and the ground was essentially a blank piece of fabric and we sketched our own sampler and went to work! A major project/addition every year. I will try to remember to show a "before" picture later. Our soil is not very good either - we sit atop what is left from a glacier. So all our garden areas have been hand-dug, screened, rocks discarded, amendments added, and put back down! (Long days in many cool springs!) We can't grow things like peppers, and even tomatoes are dicey - although we have varieties that do pretty well here with our cool nights.RGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02017190779860810318noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8103145702479253134.post-85190238321787611842010-05-17T07:13:33.582-07:002010-05-17T07:13:33.582-07:00A couple of fine bunnies sitting on the bench ther...A couple of fine bunnies sitting on the bench there!

Did you and BL plant all of your garden area, or did you get some of it when you got the house? (Do I recall that you lived there twice?) Someone there has quite the green thumb!

I don't have as much time as I'd like for gardening, so our house doesn't have a lot, although we have room for lots and lots. We have a different set of challenges for gardening: the growing season is long, but our soil is not great, and it gets so hot starting about now and running through September.Glennahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02331252407069170477noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8103145702479253134.post-63289500717851719722010-05-17T06:58:36.102-07:002010-05-17T06:58:36.102-07:00Both very beautiful pictures.
