Now a'for ya get all antsy to run off to that fun little town of Forks, WA. - it rains .. a lot. 10 feet is twice what the So. Oregon Coast gets! We've been there. The last time was several summers ago. On the spur of the moment we grabbed some food, a big tarp, sleeping bags, and some wine and headed out past Forks to one of the neat secluded beaches near LaPush. It rained all night, the romance of the deal wore off real quick. At 4:00am we were huddled under the tarp in the rain, half soaked, dividing our last sand-encrusted bagel, waiting for enough daylight to see the trail back out. We finally got to the car, threw all the wet stuff in the trunk, and drove to Forks, There is a big, warm, rustic restaurant with lots of hot coffee. Ahhhh.... Otherwise NO-ONE goes there .. it is just a pass through town on the Olympic Peninsula loop! Until now !!!!
Now it's $40 for a guided tour of a dead little town!
Got to get to bed ... the big Pahty tomorrow! Even Chico is back to his old healthy self for it!
(oh ... the march madness .. I still have a team in the hunt, Michigan State! Washington, Gonzaga, Michigan gone ...)

Your excursion must have been before the time of the Bunns......A couple of my girl students insisted I read the Twilight books, though not up my usual alley they were fun! Stay in the game RG.
I hope all the buns can make the party. There's a special surprise in the last frame of the video!
I just bought that book yesterday! I had to see what all the fuss was about...
Finished Book 1. It was good, but I still don't get all the hype. Maybe I have to watch the movie, too... Thanks for sharing! It's definitely going to be a destination for more people now.
