"Talk about snuggly! This was the situation when I went out to bring these guys back inside late in the afternoon. I picked up Zoey (ladies first) and her whole left side was warm as toast!" - RG the Mover.
Benji has quite a bit of room now, to roam, out on the deck. More and more he has taken to scouting about and enjoying the expanses. But he does stay alert for things like Craisin bag crinklings - like here. Eventually though he will sidle on over to his house-box and litter-box in the corner where he can munch fresh hay and palaver with Racer and The Princess. Maybe he conveys stories of his broadening adventures.
... "Maybe I could enter this "oil painting" of Zoey in a competition!" - Techno-RG
"By the way. This is the picture Mr. Weather has used every day for the past 7 and for the next 5 days. It is FOG. We have seen almost no sun. So if you have been thinking of moving to the beautiful Pacific Northwest - DON'T!" - RG of the Tourist Bureau
... I'll save the greens for after mid-night!" - Happy Benji
"All of these guys get this dandy salad at about 9:00 pm. They all get soooo excited and dive right in. But after about 1 minute they stop and go stretch out with droopy eyes. In the morning though, it is all gone!" - RG the Deep Sleeper
... Are we going down the worm hole Chico?Just hang on Z-Bob. I think maybe it is the way into Speedy's Magic Closet."
"And in the mean time .... today was a beautiful fall day and the time for our team to go walk two streams to look for, and count, spawning salmon. We did not see any - not enough rain and high water quite yet. But, so what!"
"Good for you Buddy Boy. Me? I'm still listening to all the chatter about Snickers, but I do not yet see the evidence. Everyone is so helpful until it comes to producing the goods. Oh well - still awhile before I need them." - Patient RG
"Does it look like a treat Cheeks?""No - Did you hear a Craisin bag?""Nope - maybe it is salad time.""Maybe - we already had breakfast today - can't be that." "Oats - Maybe it is time to freshen the oats.""Shall we just keep waiting?""Got a different plan?""Ah - actually No.""Guess it is wait and watch then.""If I fall asleep and some action happens, wake me - OK?"
"Hey! Maybe it is something real nice like I just want to pick you up and give you a snuggle.""ZZZZZZZZZZ"
... This outside litter box, and all the others out there, got completely dumped out and reloaded to get ready for the wet season. (This is a "before" picture.) All the loose hay piles on the deck pens got thrown out too, and small fresh piles were added under cover. Great confusion, consternation, nasty looks, and nosing about - after all, they had the past 5 months getting all that stuff just the way they liked it. Then - Blamo - the great cleaner from the sky came down and ruined everything. But now they are all used to it and happy, happy. (And, the compost pile got a great addition for the fall! - In the spring I stick a bunch of left over potato pieces in that pile and boy does it grow some dandies!) - Tidy RG
"You are a royal pain in the patootie RG - You know that." - Princess P.O.'d
OK. It's dinner. Enjoying a nice meal and conversation. BL looks up at the upper window and says - "Is that froggy inside or outside?" RG gets up for a closer look. "Inside. Are these two plants just recently brought in from outside ?" "Oh no - I totally forgot to look closely. Not again!"
"10 feet up there he was. A good 7 feet above the plant he came in with. No idea what his plan was, but there might be a spider or two way up there. With our typical teamwork, we got him and put him outside for a fine life. Whew." - RG with Story
