SHHHHH, DO NOT DISTURB .....

Chico is still having problems with thick, sludgy urine and he certainly has discomfort. He is quite alert, moves around, and eats little nibbles of hay and salad, not enough though. He gets a dose of Metacam daily, which manages pain, a bunch of under-the-skin water once a day, a diuretic, an anti-biotic, and Nutrical .. a gooey brown food fed by a syringe.

Here he is with BL this evening after getting washed up, blow-dried, and all his necessary meds and food.

So we'll see how it goes tomorrow - same routine.

My goodness all you folks who sent in your support, good vibes, kind thoughts, suggestions, and hellos. It is mind boggling, so much caring for a little funny Lionhead who was found in a friend's yard some time ago. Thanks so much ...

I went through this with my little ND/Lionhead cross Scout.. so we're both sending our bestest vibes and get better wishes!

Maybe Scout will let me rub her feet for extra luck. She's generally pretty generous about that.. ;)

My Smitten had severe bladder sludge twice. It seemed to clear up after I cut out the timothy pellets.

Well, Chico, you certainly LOOK marvelous. So you should feel better soon too! You simply must.

By the by, how do you know when they have sludge? Does it get on their tails or similar? I can't really see their pee in their boxes, and I want to know if mine ever get this :(

Thinking of you Chico!

Interesting info from pla725. Maybe the show pellets have something to do with it.
