I daresay the bunns will help with the flower, fruit, and vegetable preparation part of the welcome home celebration, while KB helps RG with the grilling operation.
It is ohmygod wonderful to be home. After profusely thanking RG for all he did, had to spend a long time cuddling Chico, who had his nose pressed to the screen door.
I got to help bring buns in again; everyone was happy, well cared for. KB had staked out my computer chair as his own.
For dinner, RG grilled best burgers I've ever had; shared remnants of fabulous blackberry pie for dessert.
Then while I was gone, RG filled and heated the hot tub for the first time since before his first shoulder surgery over a year and a half ago.
So ... I get to make bunny salads; then soak in the pristine, heavenly hot tub, then to bed ... and get up whenever. Perhaps not until Thursday.
No teenagers here. Just very sweet RG, adorable cuddly bunnies, and rather aloof KB, who did say "hello" when I returned.
BL is feeling very loved and missed. Promise not to gush anymore. Back to just bunny talk.
I don't know BL, KB sounds a bit like a teenager to me! Staking claim to your favourite chair while you're gone, giving you an aloof greeting. Probably turns up his nose at supper-time if he doesn't like the offerings!
Anyway, welcome home. I'm sure RG and the Bunns are very glad to have you back.

Check your credit card statement, RG, just to be sure...
