THE WEEKEND NEWS ....

Tonight BL made the dish we saw on Hef's Bunny Lounge blog the other day - oh my. We're having it again real soon!
Gotta force some spring-time mood into the house!

About those trees we planted at the Joe Leary Slough in November - I am putting down cardboard and then piling on several shovelsful of bunny litterbox waste as a mulch to keep the reed canary grass from choking them this summer. That grass grows 6 feet tall and has horrid roots.

"Watch my nose! You are getting sleepy - very, very sleepy!
Ah HA! You are now in my command! Bring me carrots." ..... Racer

A huge thank you to Hef's Mom for sharing her Cannelloni recipe, complete with pictures as well as step by step directions.

She is better than Giada any day!

I think I read in the fine print somewhere that if you drink red wine with dishes like this, it cuts the fat calories in half.

Love Racer's comment.
And always happy to meet other bunny slaves. There are a lot of us.

Yeah for bunny poop recycling! I am sure bunny poop is the answer to most environmental problems ... we just haven't figured out the right way to use it yet! There sure is a big supply of it! HA!
I hope Racer never fully realizes the power he possesses in that nose of his! He could rule the hoomin world!

No need to hypnotize, Racer, I'd give you all the carrots you want any day. :)

Humphrey would like to learn the hypnosis trick - a recent impaction (due to too many treats??) has resulted in a fairly strict diet. He is not impressed. I present him with apple twigs - he foot flicks. I present him with 'tasty' bits of bark etc, he turns his back. He WANTS TOAST.

I'm trying to join him on the healthy eating kick - not bark and twigs obviously - otherwise that canneloni looks goooood. But cheese - my god the calories when I actually stop and look!
