The fields off in front of us during a recent passing shower. The expanse of white is covers pulled over HUGE domestic blackberry fields to protect from birds and excess wet. In the lower left you can also see one of the several wind mills that get turned on in the spring if it gets to be way below freezing after buds come out. They sound like helicopters - all night long!

PRETTY PRINCESS
This girl gave us a fright a few days ago - acted so lethargic in the morning after eating and being fine the evening before. She would eat a bit and drink a bit, but was clearly in discomfort. She is almost 10 and we were fearing for the worse. We used the old faithful fresh pineapple juice and some metacam and made sure she had plenty of fresh water and greens and snuggles. After a couple days she came back quite fine - we think maybe there was a hairball issue since she has been moulting for several weeks. She is our pot of gold!

Maybe the rainbow was the physical manifestation of our joy when we knew our sweet Princess would be ok.
Maybe BL is tired and should go to bed now.
Glad to hear she's fine. I do hate it when my pets don't feel well
Glad Princess is feeling better,
So glad to hear that the Princess is better. I think the rainbow is a good sign, too.
Happy to hear Princess is ok!
I love your blog, it always makes me smile.
Greetings from Helsinki, Finland.
Hoppy bunny dance to celebrate The Princess' recovery! How are the blackberry fields protected against rabbits?
Sorry Princess was under the weather, but we're doing binkies now that she's better!
So glad to hear that Princess is feeling better!
I think your love and snuggles made her better! Glad you are better now, Princess!
We had a rainbow yesterday too, I missed it but Hef's dad got it on camera.
I'm with you, BL; that rainbow is a sign of joy that the lovely Princess is once again in good health.
Most of the time Princess looks like pure silver. I can see some of her gold showing through in that light. In any case, she's precious!
I've been so blog negligent but glad to hear the Princess was okay!
