TWO FOR ONE DAY!

One.)  Whose feet.  Chico or Zoey?

Two.)  Dueling chefs at our place in blueberry season.  Who made the pie and who made the cobbler?

RG made the cobbler and BL made the pie, no wait Zoey made the pie and Goldie made the cobbler, or was it Winston and Race for the cobbler and Chico and BL made the pie or......

I am afraid a taste of each is required for any accurate determination. Although d.moll, I.ac are on the right track. Anyone who thinks those aren't Zoey's feet needs a piece of pie and a bowl of cobbler. Where are the vans when you need them?

Those are definately Zoey's feet, but the pie and the cobbler look very tasty, have you checked out my fruit crumble yet...mmmm...boy that was tasty too

Winston ate half the cobbler and those are Chico's feet! :) Both the pie and the cobbler are amazing! The ONE thing my husband really wants is homemade blackberry cobbler and I have failed now four times to get it right ... always too runny or too dry ... I'm impressed with those two perfect pastries!

I'm thinking BL made the cobbler and RG made the pie? Just a guess...

I'm thinking that whoever made which one, it's a bargain. Yum!

Cute toesies, too.

Zoey's feet. Gimme pie. Then gimme cobbler.

BL made the pie! Dueling blueberry treats--a win-win.

BL made the pie, as it is a more complicated desert to make and requires the infallible brain power only a woman can generate.
Those are Chico's little piggies I see there.

6B, I don't think ANYONE got ANY blackberries in this summer's Gahenna here in Oklahoma, which usually yields gorgeous blackberries.

Are you adding a little cornstarch to your blackberries before you set the cobbler on the back porch to bake there in Prosper, TX?

-deSSert---ahem--female brainpower...etc..

Oh, and an easy easy deSSert? Buckles. I LOVE fruit buckles.

No cornstarch ... will try that next time!

Oklahoma has fried in the heat... it's hotter than in Texas! The only place hotter than both is Kansas... and Vegas. And, where does my hubby pick to go for a trip??? Vegas ... Why not the Northwestern states???

Chico's feet and BL made the pie. RG made the cobbler. And the Butler did it in the Library.

Yes, Butler in the Library with a silver candlestick...

KANSAS is hotter? Shows how I pay attention.

A coworker of my husband went to Mississippi for vacation and said it rained the whole time. Sheets and sheets of rain, overflowing creeks and rivers (sigh). As soon as they crossed over into Oklahoma and got passed Idabel, everything turned brown.

I have been praying for all the little bunnies that stupid people leave out in hutches. The little cottontails here are used to the heat, I guess.

OH LORD!!!! Send us some rain!!!! PLEEEAAAASSSEEE!!!

6B, when you go Vegas, just stay in the hotel or lounge by the pool.

I got to see the bunnies the other day at the rescue and they were so lazy. Of course, it was afternoon and bunnies always have the afternoon lazies. In the air conditioned warren, thank God.

It is currently 108 degrees at almost seven in the evening.
My husband was just now wondering if Altus, Oklahoma was Devil's Butthole after an Indian dinner. It is currently 110 degrees. Yippee Skippee I will be there on Wednesday.

Something that seems to help me tolerate the heat more is not eating meat. I have slowly and unintentionally given up meat in my diet. Now that I have realized it, I would like to keep it up. Certainly not for health reasons, although I do feel good. I think I am consuming more calories and fat this way, but I feel better and have lost a little weight. I had mentioned once to Jeanie at the rescue that now that I know rabbits, I could never eat one. She said if I knew any chickens, I would never eat chicken again. That got me thinking. I do not want to eat something sentient that had to die to feed my fat face. Except seafood. Hypocritical, I know...I just never met a fish that moved me to love it as an equal!

I guess I am too late here, but isn't that a slight hint of Chico's mustache right at the upper edge of the picture?

BB, let the little fishies into your heart. They love living and each other and their relentless pursuit is having cataclysmic consequences on the livingness of this world.
