SMELLS LIKE APPLE ...

A friend down the road prunes his 6 or 7 apple trees very severely every year. He brings us a lot of the branches and we clip them into 8 inch lengths and store them in a big bucket. Most all the bunns love them and can strip the bark in a few hours! We have seen Savannah take a thin one and eat it like a piece of hay!

Now we have this big bucket of naked sticks, waiting for the burn pile.

Love the blue eyes!
I am going to get some sticks from my bunnysitter's apple trees too - anything to distract Miss Eve from digging and pulling at the carpet..

Wow I want some apple sticks!

By the way, RG, we don't live with any cats, just the bunnies and the bunny slaves at our place!

We're thinking of planting an apple tree in our yard just for the buns but figure it'd be many years before we get any branches. Lucky buns to have a nice ready supply!
