POOFY ..........

Of course I'm poofy ... RG brushes me almost every day. He better .....
Meanwhile, back at the cows ....
The first time the pasture owner let cows in there, BL got pretty upset because always before it was beautiful horses and we didn't think there would be any "stinky, fly infested" cows close by.
Before long they broke through the fence and were all over our yard! 10 of them! Dairy cows - black and white.
We did not know who owned them and the pasture owner wasn't home. We herded back what we could and jerry-rigged the fence. BL got on the phone and finally tracked down the cow owners who came over toot sweet and got the other cows in and commenced to fix the fence. About now BL began to give those guys a piece of her mind ... but the older guy said, "Mam, this is farm country and you live where farming is done. Sometimes the smell and flies are unavoidable. Besides, these are female dairy cows just one year old and they are all pregnant. They will have their calves in November and then we will be able to milk them."
BL immediately adopted all the cows and got up every morning and counted to be sure they all were there!

We like the poofy look -- keep up the good work, RG.

So BL is also CL?

Don't worry, the cows can never be as poofy as you. They are no threat.

Yay, BL! But is it because she has a soft spot in her heart for cow-mamas and cow-babies, or because, as a gourmet cook, she appreciates some fine veal?

Poofy is as poofy does.

Some are just jealous that Goldie is getting so much attention/actually has fur to style.

Is it easier to herd cows than rabbits?

Oh gosh, don't mention veal to BL .. that's a no - no in our place! Oh gosh #2, herding rabbits? Huh????? You should see us trying to get Winston and Lucky when it is time to come in at night .... round and round they go until one decides to dive into a corner and get caught!

God, I would give anything to have a cow take down my fence and hang out in our yard. I told BL before: I would be happy to give up rotten human neighbors for cow stink anytime.
