Hi,I came across your blog when doing a google search about a question I have regarding my rabbit. Can you offer any advise?I have a lion head rabbit who is about 5 months old. I've been giving him a hand full of timothy hay based pellets a day and unlimited supply of timothy hay. I hardly ever give him veg because he seems to have lots of soft poop when I give it, but now he is continually having soft poop along with the regular round dropping a rabbit gets. The soft poop is stinky and I am having to clean his cage out twice a day since he does this poop all over his cage. He is potty trained and goes in the corner litter tray for everything else, but not the stinky poop!! He then sits in it and it gets all over his feet and it hangs off his long fur. I was wondering if it's the hay which is causing too much of this poop (I thinks it's the poop which they eat!! but obviously he's producing too much of it cos it's all over the place)He's a great rabbit and very friendly, but when he's covered in poop I aint holding him or having him hop around the house so out he goes in the grass and I'm able to clean him, which he hates and he hates being brushed. He's an indoor rabbit but the more he has these poops the more I'm wondering whether to put him outside in the winter (I live in Florida so it's too hot in the summer to have him out)Anyway I wondered whether you could help.
