Goldie has been having an awful molt. She had a lot of matting and then the whole mat sections came off, leaving bare skin. We have trimmed with clippers and scissors and brushed and combed. At last she is growing in. She looks pretty bad.

Its ok to try new things, and well if they don't work out all the more treats for you.
Poor dear, but it is for your own good. We had to trim up Polly, our Persian cat, twice in her fluffy lifetime. She always seemed to act as though she felt naked until it grew out a bit. Try putting on a sweater.
Just promise us your not planning to become a hairdresser, lol!

I can't help it...I think she's super-cute like this. Maybe it's impossible for the fab mz. G to be anything BUT supr-cute.

Looks a little choppy.....but htese things always look better the next day, or the day after that....
