"OH LOOK! ....

... it's RG living in a bunny box - outside!" - Benji"That's it, enough of this disdain, - I'm leaving for the Seattle area for a couple of days. But I'll be back - and then .... the REST of the story!" - RG

hey RG! If you're staying through saturday, you should come to the Rabbit Haven silent auction! Lots of delightful bun people and delightful bun things. :)

Why did I not think of that: RG living in box outside? Actually, BL is going to be nice here.

RG is missing 20th. anniversary to be with daughter who is having a serious medical problem. Plus help another daughter with a few things.

BL will be sharing nice Julia's Roast Chicken with a special bunny friend. It will be perfect. Only neutered males in the house. Oops... forgot, BL going to be nice here.

Actually RG's and BL's story has some very romantic parts. 20 years ago we were married on the beach of an island nearby. Tide was coming in; it was lovely. We've "been together" in one form or another for 37 years. We have bonded.

One day I will write our story and make a lot of money, especially from the movie rights. I'm thinking Diane Keaton and Steve Martin in the lead roles. RG wants Harrison Ford. Whatever!

When chips are down, RG and BL are a good team. Rest of the time ... well ... RG is a guy. What can I say? Thank the goddess for our special women friends, furry companions who bring us joy, and passions that give our lives meaning.

Love that photo of little bun face looking in on RG. Good idea that I might have to try here when necessary--hmm, or could it becomes a permanent thing?

And to the rest of BL's comments, I say: YES!

Sometimes duty calls even in the midst of a fairytale. When RG returns, we're sure he'll appreciate the specialness. (Although you might prepare a refrigerator box on the deck for future reference.)

Hope things go OK.

Last year I had to miss our anniversary while helping out family members with health issues. It made being home for this year's anniversary even more special.

RG, living in a box? What the heck is going on over there?

OK, just read BL's comment and now I feel bad for having chastised RG on the last comments. Sorry RG, I think that's a pretty good excuse.

There will still be 20 years together to celebrate when you get back! Good luck with your daughters.

Best of luck to you and your daughters, RG--aren't you a good dad! Well-written points about living with menfolk, BL. What is it with men thinking of Harrison Ford as being something special? He's just meh. Steve Martin is much more appealing to most of the women I know.

Benji, you don't sound surprised ... Is this not a new occurance? Does RG often stay on the deck with you bunz?

Oh how I love Seattle. Sure wish RG was going for happier reasons.
Sounds like a nice girls night though. Girls just need their girlfriends sometimes. :)

Being a good dad does take precedence over being a good husband sometimes. Of course, that all depends on how you make it up to BL, RG. ;)
