SixBunnies said...: Omy, Omy! I found a recipe for Carrot Wine! Tell the bunnies that "hops" does not mean what they think it does! Ha!

Ingredients:
3 Lbs. Sugar (Spices and Flavorings)
2 oz. Hops (Spices and Flavorings)
1 tbs. Yeast (Spices and Flavorings)
4 Lbs. Carrots (Fruit)
Drink Recipe Instruction:
Boil the carrots in 1 gal. of water for 15 minutes; add the hops and boil another 10 minutes. Strain into a large pot; add the moist sugar. When lukewarm, spread the yeast on a slice of toast and drop the toast and yeast into the pot. Seal and allow to ferment for a day and a half. When fermented. strain clean and seal up in bottles. Store for at least a month before using.; March 7, 2011 at 8:03 AM
