BLACK AND YELLOW

A black hole developing in Racer's galaxy.

Pretty pale-yellow hollyhocks in the garden.
"I tripped on some uneven sidewalk in a foot race on Saturday and did quite a number on hands, elbows, hip and right shoulder.  I did arise and continue on to win my age group (the other guy was really slow!) before getting medical assistance.  But, I am a bit on injured reserve as far as heavy lifting - for a few days - so that is why the cryptic remarks.  NO - the bunnys are not being abused.  In fact they are spoiled rotten - just go ahead and ask them.  Well - OK - maybe not that but ....."  -  RG the Hurting

Rabbits Guy - that sounds painful, hope you make a full and speedy recovery!

Maybe Racer has found the entrance way to the parallel universe that's run by bunnies!

RG the aged and infirmed...
Thank God your cryptic remarks were just about YOU being PHYSICALLY UNFIT and not unfit to be a bunny parent. I would love to relieve you of the burden of Chico, Z and Racer, but then 6B and me would have to do the whole HOR blog and...well...
Also, I KNOW I do not make as good a salad as BL and she has you trained all up for salads and....
You are irreplaceable, RG...
Feel better. Those Hollyhocks are killer beautiful, dude.
So is Racer's Black Hole (as strange as that sounds)...

RG, wow, that whole statement I just made seemed a bit insensetive to your aches and pains...Come on, now, Bunny People have their priorities, and those being...BUNNIES!!!!
I do hope you get to feeling better super quick. That is why I am happily slow and fat, buddy. Keeps me from falling on my butt. That is "fat logic" and unless you are fat, you just don't get the logic. Racer says to leave the next race to him!

Ouch, RG! I certainly am glad you did not break anything. You'd better keep your distance from any black holes until you are up to par.

I am so sorry for your spill in the race! I hope you mend quickly!

We know those bunners are spoiled rotten and you are the best bun-keeper ever! :) And, a pretty darn good gardener!

Racer is a cute furball! He might implode and take the whole northeast with him!

Gosh, BB is a sweetie meanie (and really funny!). RG, I bet it hurts more today than it did yesterday, but hopefully you will be feeling better really soon while remembering that that is when many people reinjure themselves even more seriously. We are really, really sorry, but it is another opportunity to show that great civic spirit we have come to admire. Remember that wilderness trail maintenance? Sidewalks need it too! Think of the Olympics and all the surface maintenance going on...pre-race walk throughs...NASCAR debris cautions. It's all a part of life. Uhh, forget any mention of the Olympics, because stirring as that ethos is, in the regular course of life an injury means STOP. I hope BL is tenderly waiting on you instead of whacking you. Beautiful photography is probably not going to keep "your public" from chewing on you some. Why didn't you let the other guy win? Too much dwelling on that old rabbit and the tortoise story, huh? And you just weren't going to let it happen. Wish we could send you some flowers as pretty as your own.

Awwww, poor RG! I'm sure BL is ministering to your injuries and taking superb care of you and the bunnehs. Mr. Mick sends some consolatory nose bonks and bunny kisses to make things all better and we'll be thinking good thoughts for a quick recovery.

Poor RG next time give Speedy a YELL so he can do his super Speedy Rescue of you but in the mean time Speedy send his SUPER SIZED SNUGGLES for a super speedy recovery

Yesterday morning, my recently-turned-40 husband was taking out trash and at the back porch missed the bottom step and landed right on his knees. The big baby kept sticking his skinned, scabby knees in my face making me kiss his owies.
The United States Army ruined his knees to begin with. I KNOW he is in WAY more pain than he is letting on.
I am betting RG is in WAY more pain than HE is letting us know.
I hope BL makes him see a doctor. I know getting a man to see a doctor is like convincing a cat to take a nice ice cold bath.
RG, Bayer Maximum Strength, if you CAN take aspirin, is wonderful medicine. I suggest a combo of different OTC NSAIDS as you can tolerate them until you can get something better from YOUR DOCTOR. Avoid acetametaphine. It is CRAP!

I can't do all that stuff! I'm on the mound for the Mariners tonight!

(Actually, Dr. app't. Wednesday. That shoulder was surgically repaired a couple years ago and it has me a bit worried.)

Hang in there RG, I took a nasty spill a few years go on an ice, fool dog stopped in front of me combo, so I feel your pain!

I've really grown to appreciate the anti-inflammatory properties of turmeric supplements and curry in general.

RG, I sure hope you are feeling better soon! Those shoulder injuries can be serious. Take care! Good thoughts coming your way!
