"Not to worry. It is the last harvestable eatable from the fertile fields of the House of Rabbits in 2013. BL will find a tasty human use for it." - Farmer RG

Soup. A rich veggie soup with beans and shell pasta...MINESTRONE! But with sliced jalapenos for some heat.
Or in a rice and cheese type of casserole. Or Zucchini Parmesan? I'm hungry.
I'm sad. Why am I the only person whose humans scream "vegetable" and run?
Our zukes all succumbed to bugs.
Jane, you have to watch Wallace and Grommit: Curse of the Were Rabbit.
My oldest son and I are the only people in my house besides the bunnies that will eat veggies. Mr. Bubbles will have an iceburg lettuce salad with shredded carrot only and tons of ranch dressing, eat corn or hominy in soups, but that is it. He claims that he is a Plains Indian and if God wanted him to eat rabbit food, He would not have made the buffalo. Being a Plains Indian is also his logic for not eating any kind of seafood.
Joshua will eat raw carrots and cucumbers, cooked corn and maybe a green bean or two, but only by accident.
Steven is my fellow veggie lover, or as Mr. Bubbles puts it, loves to eat all the gross sh%t that precooked food items like to eat. Precooked food items refers to livestock and game, including vegans. According to Mr. B, vegans are prey animals when the apocalypse hits, and eating a vegan does not count as cannibalism. He says they have made their choice, so stuff them with rice and serve them with gravy. And if it makes me feel better, he says, he will use up the world supply of vegans before he would eat a rabbit.
I am happy with that.
Brandi, there is always a place for you here.
