Sometimes buns thump if there is a ghost in the house. Thumps repeal ghosts since their job is going thump in the night and if there is already a thump about the job is already filled.
Well, ghosts it must be. Some bunny thumped 5 times or more late in the night too.

Mine hardly thump...Miss Eve does it when I pick her up - picking up for her is a no-no - and Neville when he's scared by something. Maybe bunny ghosts?
