There is a frost warning tonight. We live a few hundred yards up-hill from acres and acres of Blackberry, Raspberry, and Blueberry fields. They are far enough into budding that this frost could be bad. Soooo ... Farmer S. turns on these 6 or 7 humongous windmills that run by propane and blow the breeze across the fields to keep the frost from settling. They will run until well into the morning no doubt. It sounds like a fleet of helicopters coming, but they never go on by! I hope everybunny goes to the back corner of the box and covers the ears with all they got ....

Yikes, sounds awful, we are sending a round of ear plugs up your way.....
paws in ears then everyone...
Is this easier for the lops? Ears already tucked down?
Oh, dear. Tell yourself it's a very expensive white noise machine. Yikes. Sort of like our bombing exercises at the local military base: boom! boom! boom! (Picture falls off the wall).
Batten down the hatches!
I hope everybun was able to sleep last night!
Eek. That sounds very unpleasant. We'll keep our paws crossed it only lasts one night.
Hef's mom: I don't know about that. We're obviously both lops, and every time we hear a loud noise (as we do constantly, on the 3rd floor of a Manhattan apt bldg), a truck goes by, a siren, unfortunately the occasional gunshot... we run for cover.
How interesting, I had no idea. I just wrap towels around my plants...
