One house, Two people, Six Rabbits! (Oh - and a cat.)
We're catching up! We planted some flowers yesterday but no pictures yet!
You two are the star players! Get in the game!
Both very beautiful pictures. I envy your garden. Thanks for sharing!!!(I'm honestly shocked that your rabbits don't try to kill each other through the gates!)
A couple of fine bunnies sitting on the bench there!Did you and BL plant all of your garden area, or did you get some of it when you got the house? (Do I recall that you lived there twice?) Someone there has quite the green thumb!I don't have as much time as I'd like for gardening, so our house doesn't have a lot, although we have room for lots and lots. We have a different set of challenges for gardening: the growing season is long, but our soil is not great, and it gets so hot starting about now and running through September.
@ Hef's Mom .. good going! You can grow stuff we can't because our summers have too much cool at night.@ Lisa .. well, there is 4 inches of space between double wires. And, everybunny seems to tolerate (ignore) their pen-neighbors just fine! Needn't envy the gardens - 10 rabbits means stay home a lot!@ Glenna .. we moved in about 8 years ago and the ground was essentially a blank piece of fabric and we sketched our own sampler and went to work! A major project/addition every year. I will try to remember to show a "before" picture later. Our soil is not very good either - we sit atop what is left from a glacier. So all our garden areas have been hand-dug, screened, rocks discarded, amendments added, and put back down! (Long days in many cool springs!) We can't grow things like peppers, and even tomatoes are dicey - although we have varieties that do pretty well here with our cool nights.
Love your garden. I sympathize about the rocks. I made the pile of rocks taken from our gardens into a rock garden. They also are part of the foundation under the sheds, then we started filling up the neighbor's vacant lot.... Rocks are the best crop around here.
I love that song! Your gardens are gorgeous. We do pretty well here with columbine and poppy too. I want to wander off into your flowers and have nap.
Lovely buns and lovely garden. I need to get back to work on mine, but we have so much to do that there should be a 5-year plan.
WOW, your garden is stunning! And your bunnies are adorable as per usual, of course! :)
@ Lisa: Mine fight through the walls of their condos ... they are NOT good neighbors! I can't let them run around the sunroom anymore. Mr. Jamal got his eyelid hurt sticking his face in where it didn't belong.
