(Thanks for the concern for Benji everyone. But I don't think a new bunny is in the cards. Maybe a bonding with somebunn we already have. We have had many bunnies in the house for almost 11 years now and have seen a goodly number get old/sick and die - a heart wrenching experience we grow weary of. Our ability to be gone away visiting for very long has been compromised and much of our house has been relegated to bunny things! It has been a great experience and will continue for some time, but not prolonged. Of course then, there is always that other Flemish Giant we promised ourselves one day!)

RG, I can relate. I had nine at the height of my bunnymomdom... And currently I have two very in love couples (Luna & Jamal and Cooper & Ding) and I am growing weary of the stress and work associated with making sure they live in the manner they demand. I rely a bunch on those bunny mates to keep each other company because I'm busy working to support thier lifestyles! I don't know what I would do if we lost one, but I can't imagine taking on any additional responsibility. Those bunns! WORTH EVERY MINUTE OF WORK AN EVERY DIME ... but they rip your heart out every time they leave ...
We can relate also; we love love love our bunnies, as we do our kitties, but the getting old and sick and dying is horrible. (And expensive, although I wouldn't begrudge them a dime.)
By the way ... I am perfectly okay with my kids putting me to sleep when I get old and start running down ... really ... I do not mind! ... please! I had a great life ... :) LOL
RG, have you tried just tossing the lot into a room together and seeing what happens? Benji, Winnie, Racer, Princess...It's not like they don't know each other...have you TRIED bonding anyone???

I would say you should ARM yourself with a broom, definitely.
My bunnies have lived in the same room for years ... divided by a four foot high fence ... otherwise there would be fur and bunny blood everywhere! They have a deep seeded hatred for one another that they try to disguise by grooming each other through the fence as a plot to get me to take the fence down THINKING in my small bean pea brain that they might get along THIS time ... then I end up crying I'm sorries all night long to them because of the scuffle ... I wish they liked each other but they do NOT. Everybody picks on Cooper ... poor guy! Luna hates everybody and Jamal and Ding just like to antagonize each other ...

In general, I have found bunnies to be very protective of the property on the other side of that wire fence they lounge against. That'll be a big no go from me, but with the bunns you never know. Neutral territory might work out better. There are people who specialize in this. RG, you recreant, poor little Winston is whimpering about his self-esteem and you bring up the B-word. Something may have to be done. But what? Hmmm, thinking...
Auntie Jane it only for stopping the scuffles,although I could always send in Speedy I'm sure he would make a good bouncer and maybe Mr Mick could tag along too with those two together there would be no scuffles
