"FRANKLY, MY DEARS ....

... I don't really WANT to go outside right now.  Too cold."  -  Kitty Boy the Wussy Pussy.
"But look here, KB.  The little primroses can take it!"  -  RG the Amused.

You stay inside, KB. I just lost a pregnant stray! I don't know if she managed to get out somehow, although I am not sure how, or if she has a super secret hiding spot for having her kittens! I have looked high and low, up and down, back and forth, under things, over things, on things, in things, behind things, have delayered things, uncluttered, recluttered, lifted, moved, lowered, scootched and scooted, rolled and shook, rocked, used a flashlight to look in all the crannies and corners and huffed and puffed and tried to blow the house down! I even mewled like a newborn kitten in distress hoping she would come rescue me, drag me by the scruff of my neck and take me back to "my" littermates. I am so sad....

Brandi, I am so sorry. The little guys never make it easy. I hope they turn up and all is well.

Yes, stay inside KB! The birds outside will be safer that way!

One little clarification, RG? Is it SUTTR to insult KB?

KB, as RB, "Frankly, RG, I don't give a d-". He would be referring to how the primroses liked the cold. I think they are very nice, but would perhaps also choose to allow them their privacy.

KB looks too sweet and innocent to hurt a little baby tweet tweet (bird). He just doesn't look like a killer. But then again, what DOES a killer look like?

Mama Cat Update:
She IS in the house! Josh saw her, Mr. Bubbles says she was sitting in the dining room this morning when he got up to make coffee. She hissed at him and ran off toward her hidey spot. She is goooood and hidden someplace new. I asked if she still looked pregnant and they both looked at me like I asked them to explain the mysteries of a woman's mind. Rolling my eyes here at the XY chromosome set...

Yay! I was going to suggest a GENTLE brooming under the water heater, but no need now.

I was going to say incorrigible, and I think I will stick with it, "Incorrigible". So glad to hear about Mom cat, Brandi. Doing what moms do best - taking care of things.

Lady Jane agrees 100% with KB. She looked at me as if I was out of my mind when it was suggested that she go out. She then curled up in the middle of "my" bed to sleep. (We disagree on ownership of the bed.)

Wow, almtsbb! What did you do to get any say at all? Bring the treats?
