These days in Leadership Training courses, the Stick/Carrot approaches are discussed in depth. I hear that it originally referred to motivating very stubborn burros.
My theory is that perhaps the original intent was to educate the silly dupe who first tried to domesticate the wild rabbit. Of course, like all legends, there is something lost down the ages. In this case, the Stick was not meant to represent a switch to beat the rabbit, but a non-carrotty type of lesser noms, inferior to the "carrot", which represents primo noms.
The Stick or the Carrot could be translated thus: WTF Is This Noms or Hells Yes Noms.
It's not so much Leadership 101 in this case. More like How To Be A Proper Slave To Rabbits 101.
What I am trying to say, Young Grasshopper, is maybe next time try the Carrot.

Guess you'll just have to try harder, RG. Now ... if you were to try to be "Real" The Princess might believe you. Love, BL

BL, Are you saying it wasn't even a real apple stick? Please remember everything you say will be used against your husband in a court of bunny law.

Rachel, she may soon be chewing on all except her fake apple stick. I am really in a huff about this.
