OUR SKYWATCH .....

Full moon tonight ... here it is out our front windows at about 5:00 pm .. coming up right over Mt. Baker, which is about 40 miles to the NE of us. The lower hill in front is about 8 - 10 miles away.

Racer could give a whip ... I don't think Racer is a snow bunny!

About Chico ... some friends found Chico in their neighbor's back yard with a scrape on his nose. Despite all of us going door to door and putting an ad in the local paper, no one claimed him. We had room, Bunny Lady has a big soft heart, end of story! Chico is a chunky bunn ... a bit bigger than a regulation football.

Now, how could anyone abandon a lovebun like Chico? Some people just have no heart.

I love Racer's markings--the white feet and cute little white nose. That's a nose made for kisses!

I'm glad Chico found his way to the House! Chico's heart must be as big as BL's, to still be a cuddle bun after being left alone in the streets by cruel people..

Racer looks like he's ready to go into hibernation until the snow is gone again :D

I like the white of Racer's nose and how it reflects the awesome moonrise in the first photo.

Poor Chico, how could anyone abandon him? (Or any rabbit for that matter) He's lucky to have found you.

Racer is a doll and OF COURSE there was room for Chico - bunnies are like ice cream after a big meal - there's always room!

What a beautiful view of the moon! Racer just hasn't learned how to appreciate a good thing -- or maybe he's just so used to seeing it, it makes not impression!

Lucky Chico, lucky you, and lucky us!
