Not only that, he's got one ear forward and one back so he can hear everything that's going on!
I meant to mention that strange ear arrangement ... I'm not sure how Chico does that.

Now then if treats could be served........
I believe horses can also do that ear thing as well. Chico looks like he is well prepared for anything - and with his ears positioned that way he'll be the first to know!
That must be his radar ear
Chico is looking at us as if he finds us sort of foolish. And that he feels sorry for us for not being able to swivel our ears backwards and forwards.
