SAVANNAH HAS DIED ....

Our special, special lady died Saturday evening, January 7. She was 9 years old.

She was clearly failing a very few days prior and we did all we could to keep her comfortable and just loved her and loved her .... and now we miss her so much.
This is the first picture we have of Savannah. We got her in the Spring of 2004. She was pregnant and was going to the Shoofly Farm summer camp to have babies as part of the kids experience there. She came back and graced our lives here ever since.

I am so very, very sorry for your loss. I know right now that your hearts are breaking. We just lost our little Ziggy this past Friday on January 6, so we know the pain that you are feeling right now. We wish that we could take the hurt away as it aches so much...

We will all miss sweet Savannah. She was such a lucky girl to have had a home with you and the other buns. It's a shame nature didn't design rabbits to stay here with us longer.

Binky free, spotty girl!

She always accepted her pellets & veggies very graciously, and with much entusiasm!

Would Rabbits Guy or Bunny Lady object to using the lovely Savannah's picture for this Monday Mantra?

I am so, so sorry for your loss. This is such heartbreaking news but I know you know the silver lining here is that Savannah got to spend nearly 8 wonderful years in the ideal home. I'll never forget her dewlap or her spots. Binky free as the Queen of the Bridge, Regal Savannah.

It's shaping up to be a rough year already.

I am so,so sorry to hear this,we will definitely miss seeing her sweet face. It hurts so much when you lose one of your bunnies. She had such a wonderful home, at least she knew she was loved when she passed.
Give all the buns a nose rub from us.
