K-I-S-S-I-N-G!

They are too shy!
"Here is a "volunteer" tulip amongst some dandelions.  I don't think they often grow from seed.  Maybe a chipmunk "moved" the bulb?  Pretty."  -  RG the Confused
And now for a gambling update.  BL has won 5th place in the Sweet 16 contest and gets $21 - which covers our investment and then some!  She can't wait for the US football season.

How beautiful - the bunnies, the volunteer tulip with it's hardier friends, and BL's winnings!

Maybe the tulip is the weed among the dandelions?
And did you pick aforementioned dandelions for the bunnies?
I was out foraging in the yard today. The yard guy has not gotten to us yet, and all the grasses are seeding and the dandies are tall, the clover is magnificent and monstrously huge so maybe it is a different species of clover?
Yesterday, today, and hopefully for the next few days that we are supposed to have rain, I plan on taking out the scissors and my bucket and harvesting more of the tall, rough, seeding grasses and woody-stemmed flowering weeds, dandies and clover(s) and other assorted soft and rough plants to feed fresh and dry out for homemade hay.
My parents have a great "rabbit" patch but they spray for insects. That will not do, although there is a nice patch of some kind of soft leafy ground cover that grow between the flagstones on the side of their house and the bunns just love it.
So, RG, go a'pickin' and a'harvestin' those nommy "weeds" that the bunns love so well!!!!
PHEW! Thank God Mario's Mommy is home safe! (as safe as one can be in California....)

Brandi, Absolutely, someone get out there and get rid of that pesky tulip. Let it rain, let it rain, let it rain! Love to think of you harvesting for your bunns.
