BAH HUMBUG ....

It's going to be a LONG time until Christmas. If today is any indicator ... right Goldie??? Goldie??? You there Goldie??? ... It snowed ... last night ... 7 inches. I did not get the deck-rail lights up in time. So I had to do them in all that snow and cold. They all worked when I plugged them in before stringing .. now every other section is out. Pfffhhhttttt ............ Oh those glowing yellow orbs over there? They are the lights I DID get strung down below on a yard divider before the snow .. happily shining through the 7 inch layer! Obviously Savannah is not enjoying her pots there!

But it is not all bad. This year we got a 4-wheel drive vehicle so we can get up and down the lane from the main road to our house. This snow is going to stay for at least a week and now we don't need to rely on neighbors and road-kill.
Our family Christmas this year has some charity in it. Some of you got notes about being helpful, random participants, and I hope that works out well!

BRRRRRRRR humbug, that looks very, very chilly. How spirited of you, RG to get the lights up. Stay warm, bunns 'n' two foots.

Nice to see the buns are finding ways to stay warm! Stay warm, yourself. Funny, I was just reading on another blog earlier this weekend about prepping for winter storms so as not to be the one in need of a handout. It reminded me of my own hurricane preps, except substitute battery powered fans for firewood.

If you've got everything you need, just stay home! It's safer, and home is where the bunnies are!

Oh, it looks so nice, everything's covered in snow!! Hee hee, I guess my fascination with white winters come from the fact that we will never ever see snow here.. unless the world weather goes seriously haywire! Good to hear you have a 4wheeler, and won't have to survive on roadkill :p

Many thanks--Bright Eyes Rabbit Rescue will be the beneficiary of your kindness. She's a relatively new 501(c)3, and struggling to feed lots of mouths.

BBBBBRRRRRRR is right! Glad you have 4WD now, what did you get? It's pouring here and the snow level is to get down to 4000 feet. Guess we're getting your storm!

Thank you so much for the cd offer and opportunity to donate to charity. It really made my day! What a cool idea for Christmas gifts and I decided for a few people I don't know what to get I'm going to do that too! Nice. With helping my friend move and taking in an emergency ridgeback rescue Tuesday that is a neglected, abused, basically feral dog, my life has been crazy. This was a nice little blessing in the midst of the crazy!

Happy Monday Bunday! I actually posted a Bunday post today! And glad you enjoyed the trip down mem lane into archi's antics the other day... many fond memories there!

Seven inches! Yikes! We've gotten a lot of light snows/wintry mixes/rain here; very little ground coverage.

That's a funny bunny.

Love your charity idea! I'm so happy I was a lucky bun, I mean lucky one, to be picked. THANKS!

What IS up with the lights!!?? Ours did the same thing. Last year we just bought a new strand of lights, but we can't keep doing that.
