We celebrated, had good times, enjoyed family and food. Some fine stories and memories were shared and new ones started! Now, that Holiday is leaving for another year, and that pesky snow too, we hope!!!!
We wish the Holiday was as good as possible for you all.
Now let's set our sights on 2009!
(Oh no - do we have too? it does not look so good ...)
What will you be doing to make
lemonade out of 2009????? ... don't need to answer now, just think about it. We'll ask the question again in a few days!

Hmmm. I'm pondering the lemonade question. But in the meantime, I try to stay away from the news media--their sensationalism isn't helping what is at least partially a crisis of confidence. I'm trying not to second-guess my past financial decisions or dwell on what we've "lost": home equity, 401(K) value, faith in any institutions whatsoever. I think the antidote to fear for me will be to exercise more, pet the bunnies extra, stitch and remember that we've been down the road before: 1973, 1987, 2001...even if there are some new potholes. I think we'll all get sick of fear, and then spring will come...
Those are some amazing condos!
Merry Christmas! I love the bunns' socks in the previous post!
I'm glad you had a wonderful Christmas! As for 2009, I plan to keep my head down, keep working out, working hard, and enjoying the simple pleasures of home, hobbies, and the people and critters that make my home a happy one. I'll probably be giving more to charity, too, as long as I've got it to give.
Pretty pic.......ah yes, New Year's and then Chinese New Year are both coming......
Did you get more snow of Christmas day? We sure did -- even though the weather man said we wouldn't! Today, just freezing rain!
2009 - hmmmmm - will have to think on that...

I'm still making lemonade outta 2008 - tore a calf muscle last weekend and learning how to walk with crutches and see the good in why this happened now!
