CHICO AND THE CAKE ....

Once BL gets started, she can't stop! Here is a poppy-seed bundt cake with a swirl of cinnamon and a swirl of Chico. Despite some look-a-like features, Chico could not get away from it fast enough. He absolutely would not stick his nose down by it!!

Bundt Cake Tip: Grease the pan well and then dust thoroughly with powdered sugar. After cake cools for 15-20 minutes, it will slip right out. If not ... drink the Frangelico that was supposed to go into the glaze. BL

Someone asked for a recipe for the previous cake. I'll see if we can post a link on the side bar soon. And, by the way, that hay in the previous post just LOOKS like a bale or so! It is really only wisps on the deck floor ,, optical illusion.

The power went out all over the county at about 7:00pm today for some time. It was a car and a power pole. At first I thought it was that danged Eddison again!

Wow, my first impression was, "Twins!" But you say Chico disapproved of the cake. Interesting. Was it the cinnamon?

Haha! A bundt cake that looks like a bunny :) I once mad Mario banana bread for his birthday and tried to give him a little nibble. He wanted nothing to do with it, either!

yay, looks like chico is completely normal and back to everyday bunny activities such as disapproving :)

Chico is twice as sweet as the cake (which looks delicious, by the way!), so he was hurt to think you'd even compare him.

Not having power for HOURS was such a drag. The only thing we could have for dinner was PB&J and fruit. I was worried the buns wouldn't have any veggies in the a.m. But the fridge stayed cold enough, we didn't loose any food.
