TEENY FEET TRIM TIME ...

No, Savannah is not sitting on a mouse. It's just that some parts of her forgot she is a MINI Rex!

We will get to the nails soon ... it is not fun doing hers... hard to see where the no-no part starts, and she does not have a lot of fur over them so it is tempting to clip too short.

It was the coldest, nastiest fall-winter-early spring here that anyone can remember. We lost a lot of garden plants .. honeysuckles, roses, hydrangeas, clematis, hardy fuchsias .. possibly the grapes. I am leaving them a bit longer to look for some green, but there are going to be a lot of blank spots ... so just to be positive we planted our potatoes - all 100 square feet - today!

Oh, no, on the plants. Sad! The weather has been weird here as well--quite chilly and wet--but not as bad as there. Savannah is so dainty!

Savannah definitely looks like she's in need of a manicure. Bunnies sure do resist, though!

I'm sorry you lost so many plants. I know it will take awhile to fix everything up again.

Hi there! Cute bunny blog, for the toenails, clip off the whitish part, just don't get too close to the pink:)

Look at those nails! she's turning into a Mandarin. Weather sure hit you hard, poor garden! Last year we lost more plant, this year seems to be just a late start because of morning frosts.

Holy tamale, them's some serious nails. I want to paint them bright fuchsia and turn Savannah into the southern belle I know she is.

Ugh, plant death from frost is such a bummer. You Northwesters have had a lot of weather mess on your plate the last few years.

We had a hard winter on Vancouver Island also. The frigid arctic outflow winds of December damaged and killed many plants. However, the gardening experts say some of them are down, but not necessarily out. They have advised us to wait as long as July for signs of new growth before declaring some plants - like the hebes and New Zealand flax dead. Hang in there - you may have a few pleasant surprises. I saw some signs of life in a few of my battered plants today. Sunshine's in the forecast so get those bunnies out for a little fresh air!

i don't have much problem clipping my buns' nails...which is strange since this is a number one problem for many bun people. i trance mine before i clip though, and they sort of doze off in my lap. i have one bun with dark nails...and i always clip them very very carefully.

Hef needs to face the clippers soon too and I keep putting it off, lately he has been making it a two person job.
I'm sick of this weather too! We lost our tomatoes!
