A PRINCESS UPDATE ...

Our Princess seems quite morose and quiet most of the time. She spends a lot of time hiding in her box and with her ears layed back. We think she is pretty lonesome and are beginning to ponder some new bonding options. I miss her perkiness! But she eats well ... here she goes after the evening oats! We all miss Benson :<(

The Lisa Show has a new puppy trying to come to terms with an existing bunny! Maybe some folks with experience here can give her some input. We have seen plenty of pictures of friendly bunns and dogs.

Dr. Dr. Phil: I bought four of those dandy wicker balls at Pier One for $1.50 each. Not a single bunn is interested! Can it be me?

MyHouseRabbit has a nice article about "Lessons Learned From Owning Pet Bunnies" It is a few posts back.

Awww, it does sound like Princess needs a friend.

Thanks for the help. :) Although quite frankly, the puppy loves Marbles. It's the little boy that's trying to come to terms with the dog smell. Haha. Such disapproval.

Perhaps Princess would like a bunny buddy, a Prince, if you will. :)

Aww poor Princess. If I was there I would give her smoochies and snuggles.

Poor lonely Princess. I hope she finds a new mate.

How about sticking a few oats in those neglected willow balls, might perk interest. A lovely bun like Princess will have many suitors, there is an official palace announcement.

Go for a friend! Bunnies are so much happier in pairs, you know, even if they don't act that way to begin with.

my riena is still mopey after luther died a couple months ago ... but the bonding with zinger is slow. right now their enclosures are just side by side so they can get used to each other. they still fight when put together though, even on neutral territory! i know she wants a friend but she sure is having a hard time about it!
