RACER'S NOSE -
- and Winston's ears.
There (way below) is Racer's "doppelganger" from Daily Bunny the other day! Now right below here - this is the REAL Racer, in his condo, sitting in his favorite spot. He has just finished his breakfast which is a slice of banana on a little square of bread. For some reason, he takes a tiny nibble of the bread and then stands it on edge like a domino. Pretty clever.
Am I cute?

"WOW! BENJI! LOOK! ....
In Washington State, liquor is sold only in State stores and the boxes are always in big demand. BL has a regular route and knows exactly what she is looking for. The clerks must think we move a lot! But no - we do not drink ALL that!
(Zoey did not get a turn on the couch - only Chico did. Nothing wrecked - whew.)

WAITING FOR THE INTERURBAN
"What bus are we waiting for Savannah?" "I think #17, Chico. Why?" "It just went by." "Well, then I guess it is #18." Good thing these fellows have not got far to go!
All Bunnies here are fine - thanks for asking. Yesterday was just a day to especially give them extra snuggles, what with losing Cinnamon and all.

HOUSE BEAUTIFUL - NOT!
"Continue viewing at your own risk ... not for the weak of heart." - Lucky"THIS hodge-podge is where we spend outside time. Way over there - that is for Zoey. Next is for me and Winnie. Then comes - not under cover - part of Racer's (he also comes down thru that open gate, a long narrow run to his 'River Barge'.) To the left and at the bottom is part of The Princess's pen. The whole rig is great in the rain and blazing sun - although rain beating on a tarp is soooo noisy. Also, those 'walls' under the tarp are glass from top to bottom - part of RG's original plan to have a nice picnic and barbecue area shielded from the wind. Now we and Zoey are shielded - sweet! We want to do something about the roof color. Maybe it will get some mysterious holes in it and need replacing with a nice muted green, perhaps with shorter walls so we can see out more!" - Lucky, your tour guide.

"I'M KIND OF FAMOUS! ....
I was born about January 1st, 2002 at a place called Shoofly Farm. That is a little farm near Seattle that is for kid's camps in the summer and owned and operated by some of RG's children. There are lots of bunnies there and many get adopted by the summer campers. I was a special gift to BL and RG - their very first bunny! Here I was as a little twerp on BL's foot!
BL was often in charge of finding good camp bunnies and many of them - like Racer and Lucky and Winston and Benji - were too "cute" to go to camp so they stayed here at The House of Rabbits! She got Savannah, too, to go to camp and have babies so the campers could see how that worked but then Savannah came back to the House of Rabbits for the winter and told BL "never again" and so she is here all the time too!
And then along came others from rescues and such and now still Goldie and Zoey and Chico are also here with us all! But I'm still The Princess!

Anyway, Shoofly Farm got a shout-out in a recent on-line Time Magazine article and you can read a bit about it right HERE
