KB is wearing out his welcome. He scoots out The Princess's little door to the deck, hops up on the railing, climbs up the rain shield onto the house roof, goes up over the peak and down the other side to the front porch overhang and then jumps down to the porch railing, to the porch and to the ground of the great outside! Eventually he comes back and whines at the door. Anybody want a cat????

WHAT'S WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE?
BTW - although the oven caught fire (Yup, RG bought one of those cheapy aluminum roasting pans and it had a hole in it) and the septic system backed up into the downstairs bathroom (Yup, RG forgot to check on how long since the last pumping) and the kitchen faucet split and spurts all over everything (Yup, RG didn't act on it soon enough) we got through the holidays pretty good.

3 YEARS AND A CLOUD OF POSTS ...
Yes folks - this is post # 1,000 since we started 3 years ago (not including several done under the 7-Bunny-7 blog.) Almost 6,000 profile peeks and more than 60 followers - makes me feel a bit like the pied piper under a microscope. Guess we'll just keep on .....

THE VIEW FROM ZOEY'S PERCH
The QI Papers has a picture of, I think, Harriet peering down upon her mortal serfs and such. Here is Racer trying the same. He is actually having a frolic in Zoey's outdoor area which is dry and under cover. Otherwise he would be up to his pantaloons in snow.
Racer is just too darn cute, sweet, cuddly, and well - Racerish - to pull it off! He just does not do stern!
It's going to NINE DEGREES F. tonight. Insane for here - our winters average 35 degrees. I hope Aussie Katie in Vancouver is enjoying it.

SNOW AND COLD ....
It is very wintry here and unusually cold - especially for mid-November. KB has it figured out though!
Katie and Phil (sans Puddy who was one of our old 7-Bunny-7 adventure group), from A Byootaful Life, are currently living for awhile in Vancouver B.C., just up the road about 100 miles from us. They are from Australia - she is like a little kid in a candy store over snow! Do you remember your first snow?
By the way, if you are from the East (anywhere east of the Cascade Mtns.) and plan to visit - don't. Here is the big I-90 freeway over Snoqualmie Pass tonight. You will NOT want to see it tomorrow.

RETRIBUTION
CSI-HOR has been here and taken the requisite notes and photos. They have now covered the scene ... it is not fit for eyes. It is Savannah's box - well, what is left of it - you would not expect a box would have had some of the parts that were left about. Total and complete carnage. When the waitress did not move the food dish quickly enough, well Savannah just totally lost it and destroyed her own house out of rage.

BL's SLOUGH PLANTING ...
As part of her "Beautify the Slough" campaign, BL (aka Lady of the Slough) got about 40 friends and neighbors to donate money, time, skills, and a bit of food and we put 130 native plants of a wide variety along our little stretch of slough waterfront on Sunday. We hope it will serve as a model for others to emulate - we plan to encourage it! We had a most amazing turnout complete with the requisite "big wigs" and the requisite "greenies" and everyone in between.
The finished work - grow babies, grow!
What BL does best .... oh my! (Ever have 35 tree planters come for dinner?)

WINSTON NEEDS YOUR SUPPORT ....
Winston is - well let's face it - a stinker. He is not affectionate and nips some and is a bugger to catch in his outside pen to bring him in. On the other hand, he purrs sometimes and is definitely a happy little guy who will forever be in Racer's photographic shadow. He and Lucky are very close. BL is happy to let me deal with him.
So anyway, me and Winnie sometimes feel not so appreciated and a bit forlorn. Can you help???? - RGThursday, November 11, 2010

PRESSIES!!!!
Here it is - our special prize from Raspberry Rabbits!
Oh gosh, thanks so much to Shell and the bunnies for it and the added treats! We will be composing the proper holiday picture soon. Isn't it great?
(Rode the Amtrak (60 miles or so) down to the Seattle Art Museum and back to see Picasso and have a day out on the town. The Picasso exhibit is huge - many rooms and items - and so well displayed and explained! The people viewing during our window of time were of all ages, dress, nationality, and levels of interest! Some were making copious notes and sketching. You ever see much Picasso? He sure saw stuff I can't!) Thanks FOTA for another wonderful job of bunny tending. When we walked in about 9:00pm they barely looked up!

"WELL, I'LL BE"
"Look at these three news items. BL and RG are going to Seattle tomorrow to see Picasso - I wonder if Picasso is another rabbit? And it says here they bought a new flavor of Yogurt Drop, I NEVER get one so maybe The Princess will report on that fiasco. Finally they are having a BIG party for the Lady of the Slough effort (remember that?) here Sunday and WE all have to be oogled and held and petted and on our best behavior - duh - aren't we always? More later" - your intrepid reporter Racer.
"It's all true me beloved little boy. And Laura from RenoRabbits will bring you some late afternoon love and food tomorrow too - you are such a lucky bunch." - RG

HOLY GARBONZOS!
In the comic strip called Prickly City, the Apocalyptic Rabbit, Kevin, was running for office on the Rage, Hate, and End of the World ticket. On the day after elections the strip was just "Holy Garbanzos! We Won!"Well, checkout the Raspberry Rabbits Blog! "Holy Garbanzos! We Won!"
A great treat and some nice suggestions for followup and be assured, Zoey will be primped and primed for fame with the prize!!!

TALK ABOUT YOUR CLOWNS ...
A big thanks to Glenna at Eye of the Needle for the Clowns song. Look at The Boyz. Taking their bows to the camera for their own clown act! What? You missed it? Come back for the afternoon show then.
Speaking of The Boyz, Black Bart went home today with the promise that he can come back for sleep-over when ever we can arrange it. Whoopee-ding. It takes 3 hours to go get him and take him home and another 3 hours to get set up and then get cleaned up after. Today, earlier, he was outside in the pen next to The Boyz. Un-beknownst to us he hopped the fence and began to attempt to "dominate" them, one by one. Lucky kept running away but Winnie nipped him pretty good. Fortunately I arrived early on the scene and so we did not have to let it go to its conclusion.
And speaking of songs and lyrics, some of you out there have a real knack for it and we all appreciate your efforts a whole lot! Thank you and keep it up.

NaNoWriMo ...............
November is National Novel Writing Month. You aim for about 1670 words a day, day in and day out. Gives you 50,000 for the month - a short novel. No editing or perfecting, just bang it out. If you get stuck for words, invent a stuttering character - all's fair. Done it twice before - started again this morning - first thing - early - a sure-fire, can't lose story. When I'm famous you all will be the first to know!!! (NaNoWriMo - google it - absolutely amazing thing!)
"Wow Benji! Isn't this neat stuff? Smells like Zoey." - Goldie
