YESTERDAY'S BUNN IN THE SUNN ...

There she is! Savannah gets exactly the right amount of sun. I think she can warm up or cool down just by moving around a bit. That Savannah, she is a smart bunny.

Some one asked awhile ago which bunns are snugly and which are not. Mainly Savannah and Winston are not real fond of too much holding and cuddles, although they get their share. All the rest, The Princess, Racer, Zoey, Baxter, Benji, Goldie, Lucky and Chico would sit in a lap and chitter away for a good long time. We feel really fortunate.

BLOGGER 1, RABBITS' GUY 0 ....

Can't make Blogger upload any images tonight .... guess I'll just let it go ... it has sort of been one of those days! But summer is really here in fine style and most enjoyable with just enough "marine air" to keep it bearable. Toodle doo .............

I'M HAPPY TO BE INCARCERATED ...

Just keep slipping those pellets, oats, greens, and treats through the holes and I'm a happy prisoner. I like a daily freshening of the water too.

It was too dang hot out for bunns and Lucky was happy to flake out on his upper level. Winston is in there somewhere too, doing the same thing.

Say ... where is a place you have been that you really liked but almost no-one else seems to have been there? Mine is "The Corner" in Winslow, Arizona. That girl in the flat-bed Ford is right there!

GOT TREATS ??????

The nice little dollop of oats on the fresh pellets was not enough I guess. Here is Her Majesty, The Princess, giving me the "TREATS" look! Like .... Well, and now ...????

PS ... about Big Bad Boy ... no, he is neither big nor especially bad! In fact as a youngster he was Thelma (or Louise)! It is just that he was hard to keep caged at The Farm and ran loose quite a bit before he was "tutored"!

BACK TO NORMAL ......

The RG is back at the House of Rabbits, and so are the bunns after the virtual 7-bunny-7 trip. Camp was good - no accidents and plenty of fun skits, songs, stunts and stories! All well at the House Of .... Bunny Lady did good!

This is one of the many camp rabbits - Big Bad Boy - Father of The Princess! Not sure why he is blurry .. camera decided to focus on something else I guess.

Interesting "contest" over on BeginningToBird .... about vocalists. And, Racer is tagged to show what is on the front of our Refrigerator ... but I better wait a post or two .. the readers are getting a bit "testy" .. See previous comments!

GOTTA GO ....

About three times a year, R. G. goes to the kid's summer camp and manages the campfire events when a group sleeps over. Here are a bunch of them, 8 - 11 years old, sitting around a fire back in there, singing a song. Wish R. G. luck .... back Friday evening.

www.shooflyfarm.com will get you to the site where you can look at a buncha camp pictures if you've a mind.

Next post - bunnies - PROMISE!

YAWN ........

What with the Bunns gone for one more day, here is a picture of more of the giant marshmallows and strawberry pickers. Out our front windows, about 1 1/2 miles away. These berries will probably be processed for jams and pies or frozen. There are other fields that are picked for the fresh sales, and then there are several U-pick fields too. The berries are about 2-weeks behind the normal schedule!

OLE' SAYS CHICO ...

Make mine Cilantro, Mango salsa, and Chipotle ................ bring a Margarita too!
The Poupon Mustard Greens was a great idea for the other post, as was the one about the Queen Mum!

CUTE PIC ... CAN"T THINK OF A CAPTION.

Goldie and The Princess with the double wired separation fence ...

What are your ideas for a title? (Where is NBB when we need him?)

ANOTHER TOUGH DAY FOR BUNNY LOVERS ...

Bunny Girl's Tidbit has died. Just when we are getting over our loss of sweet Stanley. Kind of sad again here at the House of Rabbits.

What can be said? They capture our hearts, they lead short lives, it hurts when they leave.

So we remember we helped them have good lives and they repayed with being them! A tough job but worth it. Sometimes it just doesn't seem like it.

Good luck again with the next one ... :<)

MOVE ALONG, KEEP MOVING, ALL THE WAY THROUGH THE CHUTE ...

RG ran in the local 4th of July 5.17 Mile foot race today. (5.17? ... don't ask!) Finished right behind a young lady who came to a dead stop in the finishing chute right after crossing the line. I just about took us both out of competition for a looooong time!

Fortunately I am still ambulatory (as is she) and quite in prime for the big Mud Run on July 19 ... the link is still over there and the date approacheth! wOOt .............

NO WONDER HE LEFT !!!!

Benji disapproves of me even if he can't see me!!!! How DO he do it???

Hope you are enjoying the trip Benji ....

NYA, NYA, NYA, ......

Go off on a trip .. you need it.

WITH BUNNS AWAY ....

Well, the bunns are all gone on the 7-BUNNY-7 adventure (wink, wink) so here is a garden picture.

Altissimo Rose on the left (red) and Sally Holmes on the right. We started with the Altissimo and later built a short (12 feet long) "fence" to hold it and the Sally. They are not quite fully grown together, but they do look nice; for quite a long time too.

Yes, there sure is a plane load of bunnies off on the 7-BUNNY-7 !!!!

Monday, June 30, 2008

WILL I HAVE TIME TO READ???

Ah Benji, Benji!

No - you will be sooooo busy hob-knobing with all the new bunns. It's a library book so you can't even just chew on it either. You'll be fine.

Sunday, June 29, 2008

CARRY-ON LUGGAGE .....

The Princess is about done packing and labeling her carry-on for the big 7-BUNNY-7 adventure. Looks like a good cardboard box and plenty of flotation. In-flight food and entertainment will be provided, so she can travel light.

All you bunns better check 7-BUNNY-7 because the passenger list has been posted and if you are missing you MUST let us know. Boarding is tomorrow!

It has been warm here by our standards and all bunns are enjoying fans and laying low .....

IS IT CATCHING ????

Racer is such a dandy guy. He is a small Holland Lop .. maybe the little one of a litter. His front feet are so dainty and his nose and toes in back match! He lives right in the line of much house traffic and loves to keep track of all the coming and going.

But wait ... is that one of those "things" like Chico had .. growing out behind his ear ????

Thursday, June 26, 2008

BAXTER GOES SHY ON US ....

Bax is home, dry, fed, and happy ......... and shy! And Zoey intends to keep the intruders away. Zoey is a Peach.

Wednesday, June 25, 2008

I JUST CAN'T FIGURE IT .....

All I can say is, as sure as my name is Lucky, Baxter is really the Lucky one. I have gone over and over the calculations and there is no way a 7-Bunny-7 can do what Baxter made it do.

It plumb eludes me, about like the jitterbug does Rabbit's Guy.

Monday, June 23, 2008

SHE'S A PRETTY BUNNY .....

The title says it all ... doesn't it Savannah!

Bunny Lady says it is just the way the patch of sun-light is shining on Chico's back fur. And now that she explained it ... that is just what it looks like.

Sunday, June 22, 2008

CHICO WONDERS ....

Will there be nice litter-boxes on the 7-bunny-7 ?????

(By the way. I have no idea what that is "growing" out of Chico's back. Some reflection from the lens? A message from bunny wave lengths? It is not on the real Chico and I do not remember seeing it when I first downloaded the picture. Hmmmmmmm ....)

Great outside day today for the bunnies ... we are finally having the kind of weather we expect. A long wait. The bunns are getting clover heads in their evening salads ... that should last until October ... good eats for the next few months.

Saturday, June 21, 2008

FOR ALL THE HOT BUNNS ....

Princess chilling out on the deck .. taken through a glass door. All you hot bunnies do your best to keep cool!

I sense that as summer rolls in the blogging world slows down .... vacations, too much hot in many places, other fun stuff to do ... good plan. We might slow down a bit here for a couple months too .. we'll see. So far too hot is not a problem!

You check out those links that Tamara left in comments to the previous post. There already is a Bunny Airlines and we will have to discuss a merger with 7-bunny-7!

Nextly welcome Reno Rabbits to the Blog Role. Those fellows live close by us and are friends and have had quite a time since their rescue. We get a big kick out of their Rabbi-tat! I could live in there nicely!

Finally ... for those who did not know ... that was Baxter (the mini-lop) and Zoey (the lion-head) in the last post! And .... check in on 7-Bunny-7 .. you bunns will not want to miss the boarding day!!!!

SUN !!!!!!

WE GOT SUN FOR MORE THAN JUST A DAY! WOOT! LOVE IT!
OK ... the big adventure is getting started ... we actually have our plane ... "Really Furrther". The members of the merry band, and our zany antics, will be randomly chronicled on a special blog ..... www.7bunny7.blogspot.com

SOMETIMES A GREAT NOTION .....

Isn't this a great notion? A 6 step Quick Install Guide! We have one of these under the sink water heaters ... came with the house ... a great invention. But the tank got too old and began to leak enough to make a mess under there! So the trusty "do-it-yourself, I-can-do-this" guy found that you pretty much needed to buy the whole kit just to replace the tank. My plan still was to just replace the tank, all the plumbing and spout were fine. I mean how hard can it be? Just three hoses to hook onto the new tank, and I got the old tank out and the three hoses were right there.
Unfortunately this is reality under there! There are two sinks, not one, and a dishwasher connection and that post in the middle of the cabinet! Every hose fit fine though - gosh, even the new tank fit right on the old wall mounts! But then .... anyway it is 8 hours later, it is in, but there might be a slight drip still. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh.......... BUT! I remember that Ken Kesey wrote One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and also Sometimes a Great Notion. He was sort of a Pacific Northwest icon too. He and the Merry Pranksters drove the Electric Kool-aid Acid Test bus and the bus was called Further ... get it? FUR ther!

Soooo .. I have revisited Glenna's idea for the short hop airline ... our heroes will use a 7-bunny-7 ... and it will be called Really Furrther and painted like a great Orca Whale in honor of the NW! I have also gone down the blog ranks and found at least 66 bunnies (and two honorary cats and an honorary dog or two) to be part of the Merry Band. If I knew all the bunnies that LauraSinNJ has ( I could only find mention of Boomer, Peeper, and Sunshine) there would no doubt be more. So far there are no duplicate names except for Belle. Belle1 and Belle2.

It's going to take a bit more work to put this together ... stay tuned and ready!!!

STANDING PAT ....

The late peonys are blooming. The white ones have these deep red flecks in them .. very striking. The Princess is disguising herself as a garden statue - when I leave she plans to hot-foot it for the chard patch ...

I guess I am still waiting for better Cuckoo-nest ideas. The ones you turned in were OK, but they did not have enough breadth of weirdness ... keep thinking. I will hate to invent this on my own ... heee heee ........

Monday, June 16, 2008

CRASH AND BURN ....

There is Winston after the running and running in the cleaned digs yesterday! Most of the other guys looked about the same!

I look at maybe three or four dozen blogs, world wide, that all have something to do with pet bunnies ... more and more it strikes me that this whole merry band is just missing Jack Nicholson (One Flew Over the ...) to pull us together and do something significant and totally misunderstood by normal society!

If he did, what would it be ????

A HAPPY FATHER'S DAY .....

The kids are scattered with families of their own, but youngest daughter came to Father's Day and look what she brought! Bunny Lady fixed it up pretty and it will be around awhile!

We spent most of our day with heads down in the teeny, dirty engine room of a very old, teeny sailboat that daughter is hoping to make perfect! After three years we have been aground twice, out of fuel once, and had two good days of sailing! I've quit counting the dollars she has spent. Today we were unable to figure out why fuel does not get to the engine! Sailing is so peaceful - too bad we could not leave the dock ....

The bunns had quite a time with their clean, restocked facilities ... after lots and lots of endless back and forth checking of everything twice, most of them just finally crashed! I think they survived the upsetting OK ... hope so.

Saturday, June 14, 2008

DISAPPROVED OF .... AGAIN .........

What EVER do they think they are doing? That deck had so many purrfectly good smells and properly aged STUFF on it. All those doots and little piles of special hay .... all gone. Joint smells like a hospital now ..... I'm telling ..... Hey! Savannah, Princess, Racer .... guess what ...

Aw put a sock in it Winnie. The deck was GREEN. It was SLIPPERY. It was marginally sanitary. It needed a good wash down. Tomorrow we will put back every last doo dad and lots of fresh hay piles and dry litter in the boxes. You guys will love it ... But you'll never show it ... will you?

Those pots had the nicest basil .. we ate about 3 leaves and then the cold and damp weather got it. Coldest first 1/3 of June in Pacific NW history of weather records. But note the shadows .. that is from SUN!!!!!

WABI SABI .....

I read over on Nips-n-Cuddles that Buggins was studying Japanese. Maybe she can verify that The Princess's new facility here is sort of Wabi Sabi - or not.

You will note that The Princess believes it should be here, rather than against the wall, as in the previous post. She and I have been over this about 5 times, and I am slowly coming to understand. Although she clearly wanted the old box against the wall. Hmmmmm ....

Had to try to borrow a laptop computer for a guy for the summer. So far the best I've gotten is an old Toshiba with Windows 95 ... ouch! A little green button in the middle of the key board moves the cursor. Maybe something else will too, but I haven't found out what, and there's no manual. How did people manage in the 20th century?????

PRINCESS GETS A NEW BOX .....

Hey - things have changed .. Thump Thump, Harumpff, Harumpff .... why was I not consulted first?????

Yes, The Princess got a new box ... quite classy too! The other one seemed small and once she was in there, we could not get her out. This one has a top that folds back for ready bunny accessing!!!

And, it is has caused much consternation! Chewing, chinning, moving, looking askance, and all those type bunny actions that go on when things change! When she came out into the big room to have an afternoon romp, she did not want to go back into her area ... she saw that box and was pretty concerned! It took some fancy footwork and coaxing and herding by the two of us to get her in! Then she pouted and scowled and would not eat her fresh oats until she was sure we were fully aware of her difficult and sensitive situation! I think she is almost back to accepting again ... hope so!

THANK YOU, EVERYONE ....

It is quiet and sad here in the House of Rabbits today. A big empty place, Stanley was special. Nobody with much to say, so we'll just get going again later. It was great to hear nice words from so many. Especially from our special gal, Tara, who has Boomer the Chihuahua, aka "Chief Hua Hua!" You've met them here before and will some more!

Good night and Thank You all again.

STANLEY ... JUNE 2005 - JUNE 10, 2008

Bunny Lady's precious Stanley died early this morning. :<(

Stanley came to us as a baby and had respiratory problems from his earliest days. He did well until the past week, when he struggled a great deal, even though he had adequate doses of pain relief medication.

It is so sad to not have Stanley here anymore, but he is so much more peaceful looking in death than he was in his past few days, so in that way we are much relieved. We will miss the special guy.

Rest In Peace Stanley.

I'M BLONDE, I'M BEAUTIFUL .....

... AND I'M GOING TO HAWAII !!!!!

Uh ... I hate to break the news Goldie ... that box is not going to Hawaii.

We are no longer complaining about the lousy, cold, dreary, gray, wet, snow-in-the-mountains weather we are having for the past months. Most of the rest of you have it awful! Hang on there .. it should get cooler and calmer and dryer sometime soon.

Just how hot and/or wet is it????? (If it is just super-d-dooper, you might as well tell us that too - we need to know that SOMEBODY has it nice.)

Sunday, June 8, 2008

IT MUST BE BETTER OVER THERE!!!

I have no idea why Goldy and Benji thought it was better through that wire! But obviously they had a mission!

For the curious and sadistic, I added a link under "Websites" for the famous Bivalve Bash Mud Run. Look soon, it won't stay there long.

Reading about several of you switching to a new computer this weekend took me way back down memory lane! An early job I had was programming an on-line system that ran on two IBM 360 model 50's with the OS/MFT operating system. Each machine had 256kbytes of memory and shared 8 2314 disks .. each disk was like a big stack of dinner plates and held about 30megabytes of data. The whole works filled a large room! I got an assignment to plan the move from one version of OS/MFT to another. It took a month to figure out all the steps needed and write up the procedures to do it. Then it took about 7 of us all weekend to pull it off!

My trusty 2000 Dell with Windows Me has 128mbytes of memory and 40gbytes of disk storage! What's one of these lightweight iMac portables got in there now????

Saturday, June 7, 2008

THE RACER'S FEET ............

Thumpety Thump Thump, Thumpety Thump Thump ..... my toes match my nose!!!! I am SO cute!

Must admit, you are cute Racer Guy. Fat headed as well.

Went over to Guemes Island this morning for the famous 11th annual Dog Island 10K foot race. (never heard of it eh?) Been recovering slowly from almost a year of injuries so my time was not to be mentioned, but I DID finish and got a third in age group (old). But, nobody older than me beat me!!!! Just you wait until the equally famous Bivalve Bash Mud Run.

Friday, June 6, 2008

TURN ON THE HEAT .....

I'll make me a nice cozy pile of carpet here and maybe Bunny Lady will turn on the heat!

Golly - just about everybody saw something different in Baxter's eye!

THIS BUNN ...

.... KNOWS ALL.

Baxter always seems to me to know WAY more than I can even imagine.

Wednesday, June 4, 2008

OUT OF THE NIGHT, WHEN THE FULL MOON IS BRIGHT ...

... COMES THE BUNN-BUNN KNOWN AS VINSTON! THE BOLD LITTLE BLACK HAS A "V" ON HIS BACK, A "V" THAT STANDS FOR VINSTON .... tra la la !! "V"inston has this very strange hair pattern on his back .. it is not falling out, nor is it an injury. But most of the time it is a perfect "V"! Kind of off colored and whatever ... very strange. But then Winnie is a rabbit ....

Winston is a small Holland Lop and kind of feisty! This evening I happened to look out to the deck and just then he popped straight up about 15 inches, did a 180 turn in mid-air, and dashed to the fresh hay pile! A regular little jumping bean. A happy one I expect.

Lotsa rain recently here ... cool ... grayish ... blackberry weather! Not the berries, the vines!!! Blackberries should be the Western Washington State plant and the Slug the Animal! The Eastern 2/3 of the state are high, some desert, quite dry, and warm in the summer. Lots of fruit and wheat and onions where the Columbia River can be used to irrigate. Those people tan. We rust. We are famous for losing more sunglasses than just about the whole rest of the world! We love it! June is Orca Month. The oldest Orca whale in our area is Granny - 80 plus years old! Nothing but pollution preys on an Orca ... they are a beautiful sight.

Tuesday, June 3, 2008

TOO BIG EVEN FOR ME .....

Now that we've seen how much every body likes big back bunny feet! But the clogs are too big, still. Surprising they have no nip marks! Hmmmmmm ... let me see here .... how long will it take to .....

Chill out Princess .. you already nipped the cord to the fan that keeps it cool on hot days. Go hop in your pen and eat the oats. Or just be cute or something ....

OK ... they are big round bales of fresh mown grass. Shrink wrapped. (Not nearly as cool as most of the "guesses!") If they are just the right moisture content, then they cure well for future feeding to the cattle and dairy cows around here. Many fields full of them, bales and cows .. they (bales) get loaded on big trucks and hauled off and stacked up until winter time. I think the next cutting .. maybe in 6 weeks or so .. is baled in conventional rectangular bales with no wrap. Better pay attention to see.

I added many blogs to the list at the left. Should have done it sooner ... just didn't get to it. All have a rabbit or two (or more) in them somewhere! If you have never seen the blog from the worm farmer from Detroit (Homesteading in a Condo), now's the time. There is a video done for a TV station ... amazing what can be done in a small condo and deck in Detroit!

Monday, June 2, 2008

HEY R. G.! ... THEY GROWING BUNNY TREATS OUT THERE????

We get some great farm-land views from our yard, being a bit up on the hill-side. These huge white lumps sprang up the other day! Might be an Eskimo camp? Baxter is thinking some form of bunny goodies. Giant marshmallows? Albino mushrooms. Well aimed huge ice-balls? Ideas ....

Can you figure? I post a beautiful picture of some of my finest Spring gardening results and get 4 comments - one extremely late. But, post pictures of some dumb bunny's stupid looking huge back feet and the whole world jumps in and ooohhs and ahhhs! Maybe you want to see my septic tank????

See ya tomorrow ... Harumpfffffffff

Sunday, June 1, 2008

FEET ... STANLEY'S BACK FEET

Rabbits back feet are so HUGE compared to the rest of them. Soft and furry on the bottom .. look like big, goofy, comic slippers! Stanley is a small Holland Lop, but his hind feet and toenails are plenty full-grown. The front paws are so dainty.

Here we go, June - be warm in the Pac. NW ......

Saturday, May 31, 2008

JUST FOR A CHANGE .....

DKM had some pretty flower photos and Somewhereinnj had a peony picture and it reminded me that we made a pretty table bouquet today. Cut some of our fluffy red peonys, a single calla lily flower, and a bunch of bell-shaped pinkish columbines. Things are really beginning to bloom! We are still hoping for some more examples of "How fast my rabbit can ..." so keep them coming.

Friday, May 30, 2008

HOW FAST CAN YOUR RABBIT ........

Some comments told how fast a rabbit could do things, like trash a zipper! So this is a contest! Tell us how fast your rabbit can ....
Put it in a comment here or in your own blog post - we'll find it!
Benji here can finish filigreeing my shirt in - oh - three more sittings!
Racer got tagged by Sophia for the "Name" meme on May 24. He is usually called "Racer Boy". Fully he is "Racer Nose-blob the Brave". He sits and stares at the world when thinking of that secret name only he knows!
The Princess got tagged by Lando, also on May 24, for the "6 word memoir" meme. "Life is Good, very very Good."
Just about everyone we know has had a tag on these memes, so if you are out there and untagged - go for it!!! Thanks ....
Finally, there was an earlier meme where you could suggest an inspiring book and we kind of wimped out on that ... but after some thought, you might like "Minding The Body - Mending the Mind" by Joan Borysenko. Maybe 15 years old now, but many good ideas for dealing healthily with the endless river of life that washes down on us.

Thursday, May 29, 2008

WELL; HELLO THERE .....

Little Blackie here is one of several outside "barn" cats that live at The House of Rabbits. Several years a go a feral cat had a litter near us. Eventually she brought them near our house and we managed to trap all of them and take them to be spayed and neutered - even the mother! Now the mother and two of the kids, Blackie and a gray one, still live around most of the time. They do roam quite a bit, there being several places nearby known for good handouts! The father, Uncle Buck, also comes around some, but we have never been able to catch him. Blackie will almost, but not quite, let me pet him/her!

Surprise ... Princess did neither of Chew or Poo! (She went into her pen and ate fresh oats!) And she thanks you all for the votes, suggestions and interest. I can't say I felt any of you had me particularly in your thoughts!

Tomorrow will most certainly have more time and we will do our best to get all caught up.

Wednesday, May 28, 2008

LET ME SEE .. TO CHEW OR POO ........

That slipper looks pretty tasty all right. But, if I wait until he takes it off I could just poo in it - that always gets him to remember I am around. Oh the decision .... maybe I'll just hop off and take a rest and deal with that later .....

Oh dear, thank you Princess. Tonight did not get the memes done either, nor will Thursday probably. Late night class to attend. But then we will burn the oil and get all caught up .. he says, hopefully.

PS - Goldie is ECSTATIC! Lando called her "A Vision!"

TAKIN' IT SLOOOOW AND EASY .....

Oh boy those people of ours have been busy and doing stuff and mowing the lawn ... They do keep their priorities straight though ... we come first! We all got our toe nails trimmed and a special treat for sitting still (except I think Winston nipped ... ) and our condos are clean too. The eats have been fine.

But .... some of us have been tagged for names and stuff and that just will wait until probably tomorrow when we can get some more of their time. No sense wearing them out, we just about have them trained.

So I shall just sit here peacefully and look pretty! I'm a rabbit and have no place else to go.

Yours truly, Goldalina

Thank you bunns. Tomorrow will be less busy and we can hop right to your next assignments. I hope everyone had a good weekend and is gearing up for summer!!!

Saturday, May 24, 2008

RUMMAGE, RUSTLE, SNIFF, SNIFF .....

Dag nab it ... I know I left a carrot hidden right about here yesterday. It's gone! Has that rascal Winston been here too? Anybody see who did it? 1-800-bunnysnitch is still active ... guaranteed anonymity.

Got to try to do the meme I was tagged for from Boggins or Buggins or who ever that is (Sammy's person) ... my mind is weak but my will is strong so here goes ...

Here are the rules, so easy:
Answer at least three of the questions. Yes, I know a few look time-consuming and there are several of them. That's why I only ask for three. See? I'm nice!
(Buggins' words, not mine ..)
Post them and the rules on your blog, and please link back to me here. Pretty please *^_^* ?
Comment here telling me and the rest of our little party where you're at and link to yourself.
That's all!
Oh yeah, don't forget to tag others!
So here we go!

What's the last book you read that you thought was really super, inspiring, you'd recommend it to most anyone? I would have to go look up some stuff ... I generally do not find many books that inspiring ... I know too many people who keep reminding me that it is all 85% crap ... besides, I have never been a rememberer.

What food totally grosses you out, you'd never be able to touch it? Ew. Gag. *hurl* Mayonnaise - long story from my childhood ..(aren't they all?)

Did you ever watch a scary movie that frightened you so much you were afraid of the dark afterward? I mean like you're lying in bed trying to sleep, but you have to pee, but you're scared to get up. It doesn't have to be recently; could be when you were a kid. So what movie was it? The Thing (original version) ... had to "sleep" downstairs, at my Grandparents' house, all alone, afterwards. Probably ruined me for life.

Is there a song that makes you dance every time you hear it? Would you tap you feet and sing along to it in public? My feet are not connected to my brain ... NO. Well ... maybe The Hoky Poky.

Tattoos: yes or no? Do you have any? Tell us! NO, they are after my time, besides my Mother would a killed me. Do you think they're gross? TELL US! Some are ...

When's the last time you laughed so hard your ribs ached and/or you nearly peed yourself? What made you do it? Be serious, I'm German ...

Draw or doodle a picture of your pet(s) and post it if possible. Nothing fancy, don't be shy! I'm technically unable to comply ...

Go through a stack or box of your old music. Stuff that you may not have heard in years. Pick one and tell us about it. Is it as good (or as bad) as you remember? Donovan's Sunshine Superman ... good as ever!

Do you still sleep with a stuffed animal? We won't laugh! This is one of those questions you are damned if you do and damned if you don't no matter how you answer ... I plead the 5th.

Tagging Gus and Betsy's Dad, Erin at the Zoo, and the Worm Farmer from Detroit!

WHO'S BEEN SITTING IN MY POTS ?????

Somebody was sitting in my pot and it smells like Winston. Anybody able to verify that? Just call 1-800-bunnysnitch! And, for you nosey two-foots who wonder what is under the straw, it's none of your business. Do I go ask you what is under your bed? ... uh, well, uh ... I would go under to see I expect ... anyway, butt out.

Thank you Savannah .. we got it. This is quite a large photo so you can click it up a notch to appreciate what queenly outside facilities she has! (Yes, that IS a jump-rope used to tie the umbrella in .. well, the dang rabbit wasn't using it.)

OK .. Racer and the Princess got tagged, and so did I. It has been a long day and tomorrow is a day-trip to Seattle to visit, so we will get to those assignments a bit later ... they look like fun and we are anxious to see what the other memers have to say! We are ready for some fun and frivolity and thanks for those who cooked these up and thought of us.

Here is the latest in Bunny inside quarters ... I would not recommend letting any bunny see this. (I can feel my skill-saw trigger finger getting itchy!)

WINSTON and the MONSTER POTS!!!!

Hey! Maybe they won't see me down here and I can stay out all night!

Savannah has been brought in for the night, and Winston scooted in her pen while the gate was open. Actually, that makes it easier for Bunny Lady to catch Winnie then ... he loves to play keep-away, and his usual pen has too many hidey places!

Savannah sits in those pots and admires yet another big bush of lilacs. They are really doing well this year. The pots once were full of beautiful flowers every summer .... now just beautiful rabbits grow there.

MY NOSE IS SOOOO CUTE :<)

I'm little Racer and I have no idea how I got the nose ... but I'm keeping it! You other guys can just wish!

By the way, old smarty-pants Rabbits' Guy screwed up - again. That rabbit on the chair in the Lilac picture a few posts back ... that is Lucky, and not Benji. Benji is grey and white, while Lucky has some orange spots too!

Watch yourself there Racer Guy ... you get too big for your blogging britches and we'll just tell a few Racer tales .... Heee Heee ... maybe about the time that ...

"OATS?" DID SOMEONE SAY "OATS?"

Vazoom ... there she goes, into the pen for the evening oats! Princess had a long living room romp today .. it was rainy and chilly out, so the inside and carpet felt pretty good. But, when I said the "magic" words ... (over and over, several times) ... well, she just hopped right back home for the goods.

Looks like we had summer. Next few days are mighty cool and bleak looking - but boy the stuff outside is really growing and blooming and the NW Slugs are having a field day! I'm into the 2nd box of bait.

What a thoughtful and caring group of bunny bloggers out there ... that is really something to see. Keeps giving you a lump in your chest all over again!
