PRETTY PRINCESS
This girl gave us a fright a few days ago - acted so lethargic in the morning after eating and being fine the evening before. She would eat a bit and drink a bit, but was clearly in discomfort. She is almost 10 and we were fearing for the worse. We used the old faithful fresh pineapple juice and some metacam and made sure she had plenty of fresh water and greens and snuggles. After a couple days she came back quite fine - we think maybe there was a hairball issue since she has been moulting for several weeks. She is our pot of gold!
The fields off in front of us during a recent passing shower. The expanse of white is covers pulled over HUGE domestic blackberry fields to protect from birds and excess wet. In the lower left you can also see one of the several wind mills that get turned on in the spring if it gets to be way below freezing after buds come out. They sound like helicopters - all night long!

"WHO SHOULD BE BENJI'S RUNNING MATE?
I'll have to chew on that some!" - Savannah"A good question! We'll have a weekend poll for you to choose. Stay tuned." - RG

"A BANANA IN EVERY BOWL,
a hay-grower stimulus, treat-security for the aged, decent living quarters for all, plenty of greens, nose rubs covered by Bunni-Care, an end to butt cleanings and other nuisance treatments, re-education for hoomins, and whatever else we need and want! That is what I, Benji stand for. Vote for MEEEEE instead of this empty, invisible shell of a candidate on the other brick. You won't be sorry ....." - Benji "I suspect I will be." - RG

"THEY ARE BACK ....
.... we got to go outside. Whoop-de-doo." - Lucky"Aww - we missed you all immensely Clucker! We also had a good time. BL got the biggest fish! A 5# 20 inch small-mouth bass. On a No. 8 hook and worm - which is REAL small! We measured it and let it go - the lake NEEDS it!"
"We caught 135 fish (mostly small blue gills - 5 of us fishing off and on) and ate them ALL!"
"My Dad is 92 + and here he is getting snuggled by BL while driving his pontoon boat "The Kermudgeon" - which was our fishing platform!"
"Us on the Lake Michigan beach at Empire - a favorite place."
"We had a fun time and are glad to be back home. Maybe some more pix on a later post. Will catch up on all the blogs soon." (@Karen - we saw the Schooners but spent most of our time a bit south of TC on Silver Lake in my brother's place and fishing from The Kermudgeon. Another brother lives near Interlochen, Big Sis lives across the street from Bryant Park, and little Sis lives near the Bay a bit north of Elk Rapids. Dad lives in what I think is called Bay Meadows just off Silver Lake Rd. Wonderful weather.)
(PS - A HUGE Thanks to FOTA (RenoRabbits) for wonderful bunny care.)

Toey of Zoey!
Indeed a royal foot. I bet the slipper fits!"OK folks. BL and RG are off for several days - going to Traverse City, Michigan - where lives RG's 92 year old Dad and his (RG's) 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Staying in a lake-front summer cottage of one of the Bro's and fishing with whoever wants to go. The Old Dad has a nice pontoon boat for that and enjoys a libation in the afternoon on the deck. Not sure of the I-net opportunities - this might be it until September 18. FOTA (Friend Of The Animals) at RenoRabbits will do most of the heavy bunny-and-KB care, with help from a bunch of good friends. Adios for now." - RG
