Nothing to pluck here yet. Mum thinks I've normally started shedding by now, but we are still getting unseasonal snow in the UK. When that first tuft of fur appears mum will take my outside and hold me aloft to signal to the country that spring has started.
Oh Benji... you poor bun. Don't feel bad though; Betsy here has been shedding up a storm as well, and getting brushed every weekend, so she shares your disapproval. :-)
Fur is flying here, too, despite the ten inches of fresh snow outside. In fact, my peanut butter toast was covered with it this morning. Benji, you may not like it, but it's a good thing. And I bet you get some treats?
I have four and they never shed at at the same time, so it's always shedding time around my place. We have one dog - and Australian Shepherd - who sheds more than all four bunns together! Hair and fur are just part of my life ... It would be cool to be able to keep all this floof and make something of it!
you would think rabbits would be more appreciative of our grooming efforts. I actually really enjoy plucking, I think it is the OCD in me, but I have to be stealthy about it because Umbra doesn't tolerate it for long.
Looks like your session was pretty productive tho.
Mick had a pound or two of fur removed before I left on vacation in the hopes that his Alternate Slave would not have to deal with a bout of stasis. He was not at all amused about it, either.

I know you might hate it Benji but you really will feel much lighter afterwards.
OOOOHHH I am obsessed with plucking...
Plucked my Jersey Woolly baby boy a bit yesterday.
Benji, I would love to pluck that loosy floofsy off ya!

Good morning, HoR! Benji, your fur looks like it should be very valuable to all these spinners I know we have out there!
Pepper, your comment made me giggle! I see your Mum holding you up like Simba in the Lion King!

speedy is shedding too!
Ok... Benji has exceeded all possible cuteness scores there in the hay bucket!
it's good for your Benji and just think of all the felt you could make with the shed fur....

OCD when it comes to grooming shedding bunnies can only mean "oddly completely daft."

it never seems to end with my mini rexes. Always got two bunnies' worth from Periwinkle every time he moulted. Now Yogi is keeping up the tradition.
