SALAD TIME!
"These two are very good about each eating their own salads. Of course, they are pretty hungry by the time the evening salads come!" - RG the Impressed.
I am impressed as well. I just leave a pile of the green stuff on a cardboard "plate" and let the bunns fend for themselves. No way they would stick to their own bowls.
SALAD TIME! would make a great name for a cafe. BL's Bunny Food Cafe. Hey, there is a good one, too! I would totally eat at SALAD TIME! and/or BL's Bunny Food Cafe. I know soup is not a bunny food, but I do like a soup with my salad. Extra croutons for soup and salad, please.
brandi, i know a bunny who has warm cranberry water... that is kinda like soup for bunnies! :)
those two fuzzy wuzzies make me so happy! you prepare such lovely salads. i am more on the "pile of greens on cardboard" side of the spectrum myself... although, my bunns have been in the capable hands of my hubby for the last several days and he sent me pictures of some lovely salads overflowing over the sides of some lovely matching plates...
Pepper, I couldn't find the bunny with the beautiful sombrero. I'll look again. Alas, I am pretty inept. I had a fantasy though, that The Ladies in Vans dashed up and got Chico that sombrero. Sad as it sounds, I hope they just ripped it off his little head. Their motto is Leave No Bunny Behind, but with a little luck and in the heat of the moment, we can hope they just took the sombrero and that the poor little bereft bunny either didn't like the sombrero or his servants can replace it.
No eating out of each other's plates? We've brought in the first lettuce thinnings and some nice parsley and Pink turned up his nose at it, then buried his face in his commercial rabbit pellets. Dumb bunny. (Of course, they eat plenty of hay too.)
Well, 6Bs, it's been an ongoing source of unhappiness. You can see it on the little senorita's face, "Ah, how handsome my Chico would be with a sombrero." And, then there is little Chico raising his eye in disgust. He is thinking, "RG is never going to get me a sombrero." All, too true. I am glad to hear you wouldn't steal a bunn's sombrero. I always appreciate someone taking the high road, especially since RG and Brandi have really given us a heavy dose of airing their dirty laundry on Disapproving Rabbits. It's been a rather tell all day, and so refreshing to know that the bunny sombreros of the world are safe. Now what was that second part? You know, about the bunns themselves? That is going to require some improvement.
